Tyler Runte – Attorney, Estate Planning
Tyler has been with Amy B. Van Fossen, P.A. for seven years, specializing in estate planning. Tyler was born and raised in Ocala, Florida. She graduated high school as Valedictorian and went on to pursue her bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida. Thereafter, she attended Florida Coastal School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. Tyler worked at the Office of the Public Defender in Marion County before moving to Brevard County in 2011, transitioning to elder law which she has loved ever since!
Tyler lives in Indialantic with her husband, Ryan Runte. They have two children, Finley Grace and Beckett. Tyler enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cheering on the Gators, and being on the water!


Katie Jackson Stolz – Attorney, Probate & Public Benefits
Katie is a Brevard County native who graduated cum laude from Florida State University College of law in December of 2018. The summer after her first year of law school she interned with former Chief Judge Tonya Rainwater working on civil litigation over $15,000. The summer after her second year of law school she worked as a Certified Legal Intern in the juvenile division of the State Attorney’s Office.
Growing up in Brevard County, Katie was an avid soccer player. She played locally on state championship winning teams for Satellite High School as well as for coach Fidgi Haig’s Indialantic Force club team. During high school she received various honors including Florida’s Gatorade Player of the Year. After high school, she earned a full athletic and academic scholarship to play soccer at the University of Central Florida. She captained the team for her junior and senior seasons before graduating with a degree in Biology from UCF’s Burnett Honors College. After college, she taught science and leadership skills for one year at Eau Gallie High School before moving abroad to Switzerland and New Zealand to play professional soccer. In New Zealand, she also worked one-on-one with students from the special needs classes at a local high school, coached high school girls’ soccer, and waitressed at a local pub.
Katie lives in Indialantic with her husband and two daughters.

Cheryl Ward – Attorney, Guardianship & Litigation
During law school, Mrs. Ward was an Extern to the Honorable Judge Cabella in Circuit Court, Intern for Manatee County Attorney, Certified Legal Intern at Gulfcoast Legal Services, Legal Clerk in a civil private practice and served as Vice Chair to the American Bar Association Committee. After graduating law school, she was welcomed to the Florida Bar in 2017 and focused her career entirely in litigation and trial. When Mrs. Ward isn’t litigating, she is spending time with her three children and husband.
